Our breeding
The parents to each litter are our own dogs and can be seen with the puppies. Parents are health checked to include DNA testing, BVA eye scheme testing and heart testing where appropriate. Our parents are regularly vet checked and all receive yearly vaccinations. Parents receive regular flea and worm prevention. Our Cavalier king Charles Spaniel parents are all Kennel Club registered.
Our Puppies
Each puppy will receive their individual puppy check at 6 to 8 weeks old, including an examination of their ears, eyes, mouth, teeth and limbs. They will have their heart listened to and an overall check of their well-being. They will receive their first vaccination (second will be due at 10 to 12 weeks after leaving) they will be given a microchip which will be transferred into the new owners name. They will have a flea and worm prevention treatment.
Puppies will be well socialized within the family, experiencing everyday noises, they will handled daily by children and other family members. They will play and learn around our adult dogs. They will start their toilet training around 6 weeks old and have access to our garden (weather permitted)
The puppies will start the weaning process at their own pace around 4 to 5 weeks old, both our adult dogs and their puppies follow a mainly raw diet (which they Love!) However we know this isn't for everyone and therefore we also introduce a Royal Cannin biscuit diet alongside the puppies before leaving us. Puppies are fed 3 times a day, Morning, lunch and evening. This can be followed until adulthood then reduced down to twice a day am and pm.
Our puppies can be visited by new family's after 4 weeks of age and will be ready to take home from 8 weeks of age.
Our puppies leave us with an extensive puppy pack to include:
